Grinding plant for clinker, bentonite, Barite and other minerals located in a free trade zone in the Persian Gulf.

Vertical roller mill plant, capable of grinding about 13MT/h of clinker, 14MT/h GGBS, 18-20MT/h of Barite, 10MT/h of Bentonite, and approximately 15MT/h of calcium Carbonate depending on the fineness. The mill is equipped with a hot air dryer, and a very unique separator which can separate micronized materials.

The feeding system is a conveyor belt with 3 automatic weigh feeders for mixing of raw material and additives when necessary. The packing system is capable of filling valve type sacks, Jumbo Bags and/or bulk trucks. The storage units, connected to the mill include 2 x 350MT silos and 1x100MT silo, allowing the storage of different types of materials. An electronic weigh-bridge, with a capacity of 120MT completes the unit.

Other equipment includes dry and liquid mixing systems, which are both batch mixers connected to the necessary packing units. Loaders, forklifts, trucks and management vehicles are in daily use.

The plant is connected to the electric grid, through our substation located within the premises, and the freezone’s water supply, and we are currently only using about 55% of our electric capacity of 1000kW.

The structures on the premises include a fully functional office of about 240m2 comprised of 5 individual offices that can accommodate at least 10 people, a laboratory housing, though no equipment is on premises yet, a small warehouse, a fully functional and well equipped workshop capable of performing most of our in-house needs, and labor housing that can accommodate about 40 people, and includes a rec room, a dining hall, including kitchen etc.

It should be noted that this is very advantageous as new permits for labor housing are no longer being issued and that most other staff must now be taken to their offsite housing, which is both costly and a waste of time.

Complete list of the machinery is also available upon request.
